NEWS: THE COLLECTIVE Anniversary Edition

THE COLLECTIVE is published twice yearly with a focus on automobiles and the art of collecting. The lifestyle magazine is published by B.I. COLLECTION, one of Switzerland's largest dealers of Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Aston Martin, and Bugatti.

For its anniversary edition, THE COLLECTIVE presents an exclusive conversation between Anicka Yi and Henry Markram. Yi is a visionary artist working with bacteria, scents, and AI-driven floating machines. Markram is a neuroscientist and pioneer of the Blue Brain Project, which spent two decades researching digital models of the brain. His newly founded institute, INAIT, continues this work. The conversation explores the intersections between biological systems, artificial intelligence, and artistic research.

The edition is complemented by an essay by Ben Luke on Ken Price (1935–2012). The art historian, critic, and podcaster focuses on the American sculptor who emerged from Los Angeles' ceramic scene and earned the appreciation of Donald Judd, Ellsworth Kelly, and Frank Gehry. At the centre is the fascinating duality of Price's work: wild and organic, yet marked by exceptional precision and masterful colour composition. This tension runs through his oeuvre from the early "Eggs" of the 1960s to his late large-scale sculptures.

THE COLLECTIVE  is produced under the creative direction of Charles Blunier & Co.
